I wonder how many people read the instructions on how to use their washer, technology changes, ALWAYS READ, how many people have had trouble with their washer by not reading up on maintenance procedures. Washer to be cleaned every 30 days using affresh washer cleaner. It needs to go through this wash cleaner cycle procedure.

What Happens If you don’t use HE Detergents?

If you are using a Non-HE washer, standard detergents won’t have any effect as standard Non-HE washers are designed to work with high water volume. Furthermore, standard washers can easily work with excess suds produced by normal detergents, as it uses more water when compared to HE washers.

On the other hand, if you are using a High-Efficiency Washer along with standard detergent, it won’t work well, as high efficiency washers are designed to work with less water. Since it uses less water, excess suds produced by standard detergent will make the rinse cycle lengthy and difficult

Well went down to my appliance store today, just to ask a few more questions. Was happy they double checked their inventory and found they had the make of machine in my colour. So tomorrow our new washer will be arriving and installed a week earlier than anticipated. Come to find out one of the salesman there, has the exact same washer and his Wife loves it! Has to tell you something, about the washer, when an appliance guy that works there buys the same machine. They have owned it a year now he he told me.:fingersx: Make sure when you buy HE ( High Energy Saving machine, you buy the detergent that says for HE machines.

Normal detergent will gum up the machine and sensors..

There are of course exceptions, Toyotas as well. All current vehicles = planned obsolescence by the manufacture.

And don't forget Hyundai, they are excellent vehicles, I am on my 3rd Santa Fe, only oil changes and tire rotation. If I choose to keep it another 5 years, which would take it to 10 years, this Suv will still be on the road, even if i don't own it any longer. :) Its now 5 years old finished giving it its second wax of the season 3 weeks ago. When I took it in for an oil change and tire rotation, the Hyundai mechanic said quote that vehicle is clean! , really clean! The woman service advisor said to him, thats because Norm looks after it..

Well the new washer is in, Had to have a plumber come and replace the hot and cold valves for the hookups they were seized.. The guys came with the washer before he was done, so the plumber kindly hooked it up..

We took advantage of a super deal from the Home Despot (no, I didn’t misspell it) on LG appliances to replace our fridge, range and microwave in one shot. All to match our LG dishwasher, which we had to buy a couple years ago when the contractor-grade POS the flippers installed clapped out for the last time (I repaired the damn thing twice before it croaked). They’re coming on Wednesday the 16… really looking forward to it.

I have an LG stove, refrigerator, big screen tv for 10 years now they have been flawless. But I have found out here in my area ,where I live, try to get LG parts. I have heard this from a few good sources in the business. So for me to go LG this time was out of the question. I did a lot of research on the washer i just bought and was very favorable with excellent ratings.

I must say after my Wife and I going through a small learning curve, this washer we are very happy with. I know its very early to tell for the long run, we are hoping it gives us years of service.

Not just you. I’ve talked to others and the suggestion has been that LG parts can be tough to get.
