Well-Hung Straps Shock and Awe are Awesome!

I rarely do reviews on anything I buy, but my experience with Brad at Well-Hung Straps has been so outstanding I feel I have to!

I first saw the Well-Hung Shock and Awe straps on Reverb. I was mildly curious, but never inquired. Then I ran into Brad on My Les Paul Forum and started a conversation. I am retired USAF so I was curious if he had anything that might be more USAF related as most straps I had seen leaned toward the Army.

After contacting Brad, I was pleasantly surprised at how interested he was in making me a custom strap to my liking. We talked and decided to make my strap using patches from my 26-year career. All of the patches have some significant meaning to me. The 83rd patch was my first unit, the 95th patch was my final unit. The 13th Air Force patch was where I spent a lot of my career. The Master Sergeant patch was the highest rank I attained. The patch from Osan AB was significant because I met my wife there in 1982. And the Saudi Arabia patch was where I was deployed for three separate 120-day tours to the desert!

After Brad received my patches, he immediately went to work on a few different layouts so I could decide what order I wanted them in. I was amazed at his enthusiasm and excitement over my project. He had the strap made incredibly quick and on its way to me!

But, let’s get to the good part. The Well-Hung Shock and Awe strap is THE BEST strap I’ve ever owned. It has a nice amount of padding so it’s super comfortable. The back has a very nice suede that keeps the guitar in place and never allows it to slip around. The D-Ring set up is super easy to adjust! I just could not be happier!

If you are looking for a very personalized strap that will have some meaning to you and not just a piece of leather or cloth you slap on your guitar, I would highly recommend you contact Brad and work with him to get your strap right away! These are very nice and also very strong and should last a lifetime!

Oh, one last thing, the swag that came with the strap was amazing as well. Well-Hung Shock and Awe cloth patch. Well-Hung guitar picks and a Well-Hung sticker! Brad and Well-Hung Straps are Fantastic!

Here are some during and after shots!

Damn Bubba you were in all those Squadrons???

great looking strap did you invite Brad to join here?
He can promote his wears ??

Brad makes awesome straps. He is on a few forums I'm on. My wife bought me one a few years ago for my birthday. It is by far the most comfortable and durable strap I've owned. He's a really nice guy. He sent a wonderful letter with the strap wishing me a happy birthday and telling me what a great wife she is. Mine is pretty plain. I not a fan of gaudy straps. It does what it is supposed to and is extremely good at it.

Wow, great!

First off, THANK YOU Brotha for your service, all my family and friends say thanks for protecting us.

Second, way cool, those are awesome, I think he sold a few with your post.

Thanks again for the heads up.

Hello fellas, just coming back here, at sp8ctres' invite. My frozen Canadian heart is warmed by your welcome, and far too kind words.
PM me if you have any questions about guitar straps, what women really want, and powerful cougar attractants.

About tone? I hardly know a thing :p

So it’s you that I just gave my money to!....Well, I’ve gotta say, I’ve been eyeballing you’re stuff for years now, and really, you are quite an artist! I liked what you’ve done for Chris! That’s beyond cool!
I’m happy to help support someone that would be so attentive, and creative, with a request like his.
I look forward to the new look that is on the horizon for my V!(maybe I’ll use it on multiple guitars...like it’s cousin...see pic in signature ;) )

Welcome

New guy buys first round.

Aw. you're Canadian, you'd bought anyway! lol

Great bunch here, and love your work.

Khal Drogo is a VERY cool one, made back when the Game of Thrones was winding up... at the time I made a series of ten straps each one named after a character with some of the flavour of that character/house.
Some still remain, most sold off.

It's funny, I've been making straps for about ten years now, and everytime I join a new community, there's invariably one or two guys who already have one, or have looked at them. Anyway, this forum is one of the Enthused sites right? I have been in contact with Enthused Mgmt in the past, and had dealer status on some properties before. I best go check out the rules in more detail before I go spouting off and end up getting banhammered for being a spammer. But anyway, sp8ctre - you da man, thanks for the shoutout. Thatbastard, so far you are not living up to your name AT ALL.

I do have a steampunk streak in my taste for accessories.

...and the name, Thatbastard....that one over there... thatbastarddon....he’s harmless ;) ...mostly harmless.

What a way to find a new wing-man? TY!!!! FYI here's an idea of what it's going to look like on a reddish-coloured instrument.
