Well boys and girls...

:ROFLMAO:
Yes. Yes it is lol
My last experiences with opium are more than 20 years ago, but yes.
Problem is legality, availability, and the fact that it's literally...an opiate, called so because of what they're all derived from...which unless synthetic, all of them begin with the papaver somniferum.
Which I'm trying to avoid becoming dependent on.

I will say this much: I have fond memories of it. Never used it in any pain management capacity though, just "abuse". Lol

I had a native American friend who gave me some peyote buttons when we were kids. It was an interesting experience.

I've never, ever had a hangover, so I gotta be super disciplined.
I envy you lol

I do enjoy my beers, I think everyone here knows that
And I can put em down, too, hanging with the best of them!

However, I do get hangovers, and they suck very very much. I wish I knew the trick to avoiding them, but I've come to believe that if I want to avoid a hangover, the only foolproof method I have found for myself is to avoid alcohol altogether...or at least try not to overdo it.

These THC pens hit pretty hard.
Hahaha! That, they DO!

I really do enjoy the ritual of packing a nug, choosing just the right place to lick it with the flame, ever so gently drawing inward it's sweetness, dank pungency, berry or citrus fruits and piney essences, and feeling the way it slinks into the lungs like a smooth, creamy milkshake. It settles for a few seconds...and then is expelled with gusto. Within a few seconds, one is aware of the meaning of this herb he has before him. He contemplates for a moment, about whatever he holds in his mind, but this time he thinks on it, it posesses slightly less gravity; the weight of his ponderies lightened upon his shoulders. He returns the flower to his lips, and begins to gently draw inward it's sweetness again.....

Yea it’s just as you said..
3 beers in ,, you get the slightest of an urge, guitar in hand , amps on , Saturday night, kicking it in the garage, take my one hit appertatus .. give it some fire , let sink in, exhale. post another riff..

Cheers

You describe how whisky makes me feel, except the inhaling aspect.

When I'm drunk, I feel totally normal.
