Well boys and girls...

Sheesh. Definitely not a good day. Let us know how it all goes. My guess, you’re in good hands and will be back to good as new in no time. Take care man!

Keep thinking it’d be fun to get back on a dirt bike. You just reminded why at my age it wouldn’t be a good idea.

Dirt bikes are fun. The stupid thing is that I wasn't even doing anything cool. I was just putting around in first gear. But the bike got away from me and I must have just landed on my leg wrong and bent it backwards at the knee. I felt a crack/pop and I went down, and couldn't get back up.

I still ride my XR500R, but I don't do a lot of the tricks i used to do.

Hoping you get healed up quickly!!!!

Most definitely. Had more fun on my dirt bikes than I ever did on the street. Crashed plenty… but was lucky and never got hurt too bad other than scrapes and bruises. Although there was that one time I went over the bars and landed head first. Rung my bell pretty good that day. Guess it took me about 4 hours or so to rejoin society. Had to take others word for it as I don’t remember a thing.
