Welcome Strat Talk folks!

This a new to me feature:

I cannot recall seeing a DIY username change a feature on any previous forum site I've used since the early oughts. There have been many.

I may just do that - something nonsensical maybe. Ima thinkin'...

Wow Reed, I haven't been around much for quite awhile. I had no idea that things had gotten so bad over there in my absence.
Indeed Scott, this past year has seen an exponential increase in bullying at the hands of the moderator who doesn't know how to play, aimed at that forum's most skilled and talented...
particularly those who choose not to swoon over the bully's endless stream of "dig me."

Why doesn't Alex get rid of him? Or is he unaware? I am working on an article for one of Alex's sites/publication, and I've been trying to get ahold of him via email for 5 days with some questions about what angle he wants to approach the Strat Article.

And I got him to let me write an article on setting up Gretsch's with two types of Bigsby's which will have lots of pics. That one is already outlined. It's freelance and pays per article.

I've been doing research on 1950's strats this weekend. You know things like when the first production models were made. Different years, different woods. Slab bodies versus multiple es. When they stopped using polystyrene/bakalite plastics. That kind of thing. The site/publication is geared toward beginners.

I can out suck all of you.

No, wait, that didn't come out right.

If there was a sucking contest I'd.....

Nah, still not what I'm trying to convey.

If, and I do mean if, there was a way for one, meaning me, to inflict a level of pain weaponizing a guitar and amp thus causing one to beg to be shot due to one's suffering, I can do that.
Idk man,
You were getting me excited for a minute

There seems to be quite a few of you folks. Great to have you here!!
It's nice to have some other people you know when navigating a new forum. You will find this place to be fairly small and friendly. The majority of regular posters have been here awhile and we start to get to know each other.
I look forward to some new blood and new conversations!

Welcome All!!!
