There are duplicates in that number. The folder\subfolder structure fell apart years ago. Sloppy file wrangling on my part. Making it all neat again is not worth the effort.

My main computer has 7 TB space on 3 local drives. I lose stuff easily when I don't maintain a structured file system.

Laptop I'm typing this from...... when I ordered it, I got it with a 1TB hard drive. Told my boss that after I got it since he was also the IT guy at our store. He laughed and told me that's more storage than they have on the stores server.

Organization! It’s the only way. The PC in the studio has a 4, 2 and 1 TB drives. I’ve had file path names greater than 256 characters. It used to be a limit but I think Microsoft extended it somewhere along the line.

But I also hate the IOS limitation of only 1 folder deep in the photos app.

@WavMixer a TB is way more than I need or will ever use.... but we all know for a few bucks at purchase time is way cheaper than the big bucks if one chooses to update later. Case in point. Same laptop. Ordered it with the standard 8GB RAM. Decided to upgrade to 16GB. Probably spent 3-4 times the cash had I bought the laptop with 16 already loaded.

I need an upgrade processor wise but currently have a 2 TB SSD, 500 GB SSD a 2 and 1 TB. They need upgrading. I also have an outboard 8 TB I use now plus a 14 TB backup. All the 4k gig videos including multi camera, etc etc eats it up fast.

My invitation came from Far Rider. It took him telling me a couple of times before I finally gave it a go and even after I joined it took a while to feel comfortable. I was going thru some personal sh*t including health problems aggravated by PTSD and the forum I called home was falling apart at the seams so I was very down on forums at the time and was very reluctant to give a new one a try. I'm glad I stuck it out.
