The sign into AL actually said "Welcome to Sweet Home Alabama"

Tomorrow we drive to Shreveport Louisiana to where wife is from to see her mom. Then off to Fort Sill in OK to see our son . He went in boot camp last year & is now stationed there. He took up heavy truck transport, drives them monsters with the cargo. More than likely being deployed soon. He is in the group that goes out continually when one gets back.

One of my grandsons buddies is all so a military truck driver in the reserves, and has been deployed a couple of times.

My Dad was born in Shreveport, and later stationed at Fort Sill.
