Welcome Back My Friends!

Well then, if my breaking the site helped your mom lift her leg, it was worth it!

Thank you Grant. I sure have had a major adjustment from almost thinking mom was going to die in the last 2 weeks of July, to now reckoning with her living and all that will entail if she can regain talking, walking, or even to move her stuck right arm again like her right leg decided to do 2 months later. Dementia also plays a role in her future, sadly.

Sis and I are keeping hope and doing all we can. Oh and the day after mom moved her leg, the nursing home called to tell us they had to go on Covid lockdown. In the last week, 12+ patients have gotten it on the floor my mom was moved out of 4-5 days prior. She has tested Negative so far.

Welcome back my tone chasing family! Let me start off with apologizing for the outage. It came unexpected at the worst possible time. The hosting company made changes to the version of PHP without informing me and it broke this site. We pay extra to have this site automatically backed up every day. This tool that the web host charges us for did not work! I could not get it to work. The hosting company couldn't get it to work. I had the hosting company restore the site from what's called a snapshot and they failed with that too. Ray to the rescue has a new hosting company for us to move to. Special props to @eSGEe and @RVA for keeping y'all informed and in communication with us TTR folks. Running this site is indeed a team effort!

So now the work has just started, This site is still currently running on the bad hosting company server. My first step before migrating this site was to make sure it works. No good trying to move a broken site and expect it to work on a new server. OK, step 1, the site is running again. Now that the site is back up I can take a bit of time to get it moved over, upgrade the software all in proactive mode, not reactive mode. Some changes are coming but hopefully you won't notice any more interruptions.

Your efforts are much appreciated, Wav! Kudos to you, @RVA, and @eSGEe, as well!

Unless a person has worked closely with an IT department or has personally done that sort of work, it can be difficult to understand just how much work goes into something like this site. It’s not easy.

Throughout the downtime, I was really feeling for you! I was just envisioning all the grief you were dealing with.

Thanks for keeping at it.

Ummm why does my message about mom"s nursing home going on C 0 V l d lockdown say * censored* ? Am I missing something here on the apparent thought police interference? At least "that word" is what I think I said about the place mom is in.

Good to hear from you, Brother Chili! And here's hoping from the bottom of my heart that your Mom dodges this bullet as she's been doing all along... she's certainly proven she's got the right stuff and then some! And as always, we're here for you, Bro!

Thank you so much, Six string. Last I saw mom before " censored" lockdown of nursing home was 9/17. At that time, she flat out shocked me with her dead leg from 2 months of 0, to instant 3 minutes of Up n down in the bed then alternate leg lifts as if to walk in place. No clue any developments since the lockdown.
