Interesting gambit, to open with a telecaster, even if a deluxe.
Telecaster men can be subject to ridicule & derisive chortling around these here parts. I own four. Perhaps your entrance is a signal the tide is turning in this land of pointy-ish guitars. However, you do gain back much respect by showing us your dads old car, which most would here agree is almost as cool as my base model KIA Sportage.

First the car is mine i have had her since 84’
Second the Bucketcaster Deluxe is my own creation using warmoth special parts like swamp ash body, 1 piece rosewood neck and some gibson classic 57 and 57+ a kill switch for some kill switchery Fun and push pulls for some different but awesome Tones (i think it is LoL)but yes i own a couple Tele Deluxes and do love the way they feel! And look

As @TVvoodoo said, there are people around here who do not like anything that starts with Tele (Telephone, Television, Telegraph, Telescope, Telethon, Telepath, Telemarketer ... ok nobody likes those, and especially Telecaster).
