Wednesday night blues jam

Every Wednesday we have a blues jam at the Chieftain Hotel. Last night we rocked the place. I'm not in this picture because we had a lot of players so I let several other players use my gear. The military blues amp rocked. It was fun to hear it from the audience perspective. I tried to take some video but it sounded horrible. here's a picture.

Transgendered. She is an awesome person and not a bad guitar player although she favours metal and plays in a punk band. I wouldn't want to go through life in her shoes. We live in a small town and some people are not very tolerant. Fortunately most of the musicians in town don't have a problem with her.

Oh yeah! Everyone had to try it. Jason one of the organizers tried a metal body dobro with a piezo pickup through it. It sounded best with the guy in the picture who plays a strat. He is so good it doesn't matter what he plays through though. Akasha with the SG Prophecy couldn't get enough volume so she had everything dimed. Strange the lower volume with the active EMG pickups but it sounded good. I had a strat there as well but didn't sound near as good as the other strat.
