Does the value of pots make much difference in a guitar
My 1978 Gibson RD Standard had 100K stock
The P90 Tele I put together used the stock 1971 control 250K and at one point put a real PAF pickup in the bridge
Now on dumble amps the control values make a difference if you play a real one all controls are a 12 o clock

They do make a difference with some pickups, because the pot kind of limits the output it seems. I see a lot of 550k pots available and of course 1 meg.

The build should begin this weekend pending any other distractions.
I need to sand for prep.
Not exactly sure about the binding , @DirtySteve had told me that you just scrap the binding and I watched a video on that, I'm not super confident with that method but I might learn something.
I know it needs painting before the snow flys.
