Want to See Someone Play the CRAP Out of a SG...

^ that bass is looking sweet.

It always seem so strange when we have endless Andertons and other Les Paul videos when a new Gibson range is launched, literally 3 or 4 or 5, then they do a single, usually much shorter video on the SGs, Vs, Xplorers together...

Yeah, that makes sense. They are very heavily US influenced while wearing some of that horrible UK glamour-glitzy clothes of the early 70s. I'll certainly listen to more of them.

If you haven't listened to the band that they left to form Foghat you should...Savoy Brown!

"The band initially featured Dave Peverett ("Lonesome Dave") on guitar and vocals, Tony Stevens on bass and Roger Earl on drums, after all three musicians left Savoy Brown in 1971"

Grumpy asked me in another PM what are my favorite Amps.

I intentionally didn't mention Hiwatt, but in this case I would like to let him listen to one of his Countryman demonstrate the glory of them.
Either nice headphones, or High End Stereo, and you will hear what I do. Gball will love the speakers used by Mr Townshend.

NOW when I read the title of this thread,

Here is how an SG was meant to be played.
Just listen to Young Man Blues and try not to get mesmerized by Entwistle on Bass

I also happen to notice especially while watching, WATER. Absolutely no Neck Dive.

I really loved Foghat as a kid. Even had the Fog hat...

My 8 Track got stuck with the Fool for the City tape and we heard this song a LOT when cruising on the weekends!
