Who here on this fine forum does any walking for exercise or leisure? I do a fair bit myself and it's healthy for you since it's a low-impact workout. Here's a video on 10 reasons why walking is good for you and what will happen to your body if you walk everyday.

All the time weather permitting.
I do at LEAST 20 min usually 30min or so fast pace walk with dogs.
All 3 of us need it.

Right now, I am trying to get up earlier and go before work.
It is hit or miss.
It is too hot later when I get home and I dont get motivated after 7:00pm or so when the pavement is cool enough.

I have some joint issues and cant jog or run regularly.

I started walking about 5 years ago and walked 3 miles a day .sometimes more. i was 260 #s at one time. I got down to about 170 pounds. ive been slacking some lately and im at about 190 pounds. been tryin to eat better and walk again. I enjoy walking and reccomend it.

The only time I use a car is to get back and forth to work or when we go on trips. Otherwise I walk everywhere, and we have always lived in walkable communities: everything we do, eat/drink/shop/dry cleaner/recreation, even my guitar shop! is walking distance from our home or my office. I can't even fathom the idea of living in a suburban or rural environment where I couldn't walk to do these things.

Most days I walk to work and I walk home every day. That's about 70 minutes every day. And then I hardly sit down or stand still at work, so I guess I walk a lot... And I don't have a car, so I will basically walk everywhere if it is too far away to be practical.

Not even a motorcycle?

I too walk daily. Every morning with the dog, if it's not raining.
Been getting the wife to tag along lately as well.
She's supposed to walk around every couple of hours to keep limber after recent back surgery, but she sometimes forgets.
So I'm constantly busting her chops to do it.
We live rural, so a morning walk is usually greeted by cows, the ocasional deer or fox, quite often turtles and usually the neighbor German Shepherd.
He & my dog get so excited when they see each other, then it's high speed playtime on the dirt road and usually a bath for our dog when we get home.

My journey to work is thirty miles, and takes thirty minutes. There is an alternative route by train, but it costs almost three times as much and takes an hour and a half.

No contest.
