VSHNGD...Yes That's Right...Another One...

Damn that's a nice guitar. Flame tops always look good to me & as was said before, the pics scream quality workmanship. Also interested in hearing the answer to Smitty's question. Congrats on a fine new axe. Cheers

Cool.

I'm interested to hear your results. Since there is a very straight string pull and a rather shallow break angle across a graphite nut, the results may be positive.

Not so patiently waiting....!

Discovered the trem seems to be blocked right now. I don't feel like screwing with it...so results will be delayed...

I do not, but I have asked the original owner for the build sheet. He's looking...
That'll be cool if he can find it. Whenever you do strip her down, the pups will definitely be identifiable. If you get a chance, I would like to see the control cavity of your guitar. I'm curious to see if Carvin has changed anything in there... :boobs:

I can't believe how fvkin' nice this Carvin is and I can't believe I was hesitant to trade my SG for it!
This thing is just astounding! I'm in love with it...plays so smooth and sweet, but can get raunchy too!

Thanks again for convincing me Adrian!

Oh and I confirmed, the Trem is blocked and I ain't ready to screw with it! Nicely done control cavity too...

So...let me get this straight...you'll climb hundreds of feet and work on an antenna tower - trusting your life to a harness...but you're scared of a few springs and hex screws on that li'l ol' Floyd?

I don't even know who you are, anymore!

I'll get at it soon...I just love playing the guitar and I don't want it down for maintenance right now. And I never us a whammy bar...I usually block them on my Strats...

It does look like the factory did the shielding in the cavity. It's almost too perfect to have been a home job. This guitar is just so nice, I don't understand why these have low resale value???

I don't understand why these have low resale value???

Because the headstock doesn't say, "Gibson" or "Fender."

Okay, that was cynical, but you see my point.

But, to your point, I don't think I've ever seen a bad Carvin. They used to make acoustics, as well. Those were also really nice.
