Vox AC30 Head. Why the upside down labels?

The front in this view is facing the top. So we can read the labels. But when stacked on the cab you would be looking at the back of the head. First world problem for sure.

Is this is oriented for the direction the pots turn as well?

If you face the head so the grill cloth and the head match may be the pots would be backwards?

Any thoughts?

I think the original idea was that you stood / sat behind the amplifier and the amp was in front of the band, basically.
The same type backward labels are on Hot Rod Deluxe, Blues Deville, etc...
Despite the backwardness good sounding amp.
A lot of the old amps did have backward labels.

The idea of amps behind the band, sort of developed later on. After the Beatles.
