I mean it was pretty good and all, but no tamborine or organ
I was thinking about using my Cajon, but I have not tried to record it yet. I didn’t know if I could/would pull it off. Plus, I wasn’t terribly unhappy with the generic midi file…once I remembered the JS MIDI Velocity and Timing Humanizer plug-in in Reaper, the drums came together pretty quickly. Though, I may play around with the JS drum deviator next chance I get.
I don’t have a tambourine…I do have a couple of triangles…and a kazoo.

You could capture it i believe. I did pa for my friends band at a wedding last year. Put a kick drum mic in the hole on a little mic stand. Sounded like a regular drum in PA. Dude was good, real good & also mic'd up a harmonica player for first time.
