So I can in my feeble mind be totally clear. Voting closes Wednesday @ 6:58PM or Thursday @ 6:58PM? At the beginning of voting it says tomorrow at 6:58 (Wednesday)..... a bit later it says 48 hours.... which would make it Thursday. Just wondering since in about an hour I'm not home till late afternoon and I'd like to run thru the entries again, only on headphone instead of iPhone speaker.

I find it interesting that most of the songs we first learned and covered were released between 1969 - 1980
Sister Golden Hair - 1975
Slow Ride - 1975
Breaking the Law - 1980
Bad Moon Rising - 1969
Calling Dr. Love - 1976
Electric Funeral - 1970
Highway to Hell - 1979

Mike broke away from the pack, because he's a rebel by nature with Machinehead - 1994

Probably we all early teens and rock n roll was so good. Remember going in & looking at the top 10 albums & 45 singles at the store. it was larger than life to me back then. Take me back pleaseee....

Lol I guess a person is a product of their environment and everything that was in style. By the time Machinehead had came out, I was 11, so about one year before I picked up the guitar and due to it being used in the film, Fear (1996), it was still on kids' radar. So, if you were a hack guitarist like myself ( still am!) annnnnddddd you wanted to impress some kids your own age...maaaaaaybee some of the female persuasion? Then you swallowed your precious morals and did what any good poser would do and learn something that they would know and try to shine them on!

For the record? It did NOT work lmao

I grew up on all those songs. By the time Machinehead came out, I was in my mid 20s, my son was born and even though the music from the 90s was cool, I didn't have time to play anymore. Now I'm catching up on playing everything I missed in the 90s. Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, etc..

@Thatbastarddon still cant get enough of that video. What program did you use to edit the video?
In case you are using a mac, I'm using windows.
Most of the time I use a video editor on my iphone, which becomes slightly tedious for videos like yours.

All done in Reaper.
I did make a second, separate, project to do the video editing over the finished mix.

What a talented group. @Ku² that was awesome. For me that showed the most skills, excellent playing and writing. I tended to give more weight to those who included their vocals. I find singing terrifying so I rated those of you brave enough to try higher. Well done everyone!

@Kerry Brown valid points! I also favoured those who made videos, (without voting for myself)... because it's much more interesting and useful to get to know you guys, and for me as administrator actually easier to post a youtube video for judgmenting. It's quite a lot of extra work to make, but more fun too

Also I should note that Sister Golden Hair told me she really liked my organ, though she would have liked more
