I've got both. The black 2203 (non-original shell) sounds amazing. It helps that there are original Blackburn Mullard tubes in it. The Fawn 2204 is good, but the 2203 is much better.Lol I'd love to score an old JMP, specifically a 2204 50w even more than the 2203 100w honestly, but I'd take either one. Perfect old school classic metal amp

Those are both awesome! Probably my favorite Marshalls of all time really. Completely versatile and a perfect ampI've got both. The black 2203 (non-original shell) sounds amazing. It helps that there are original Blackburn Mullard tubes in it. The Fawn 2204 is good, but the 2203 is much better.

That would've been killer to have too! Anything from that series was just a ballsy, classic Marshall that could do whatever you wanted it toMine as well..
After all the 2104 my first Marshall was the combo version.
Next to the 1987 being my favorite, those late 70’s JMP master volume amps are number two on my list. That would've been killer to have too! Anything from that series was just a ballsy, classic Marshall that could do whatever you wanted it to
