So here's my observation regarding activity times on this forum:

A few quick visitors in the early morning before work (Mon-Fri).
Not much all day, everyone works (retired boomers sleep).
A little traffic in the early evening Mon-Thu (not sure about Fri yet).
The boomers are drunk and passed out by 8PM, but the kids stay up til 10.
Most of the activity is on the weekends.

Yeah, well, this place could use a good kick in the pants-tits.

However, right now there's no way we could support a sudden influx of new orphans here (btw, I'm still on the MF, just having trouble getting on with the upgrade), because this forum is already experiencing intermittent crashes. Add another 50-100+ highly active members, and suddenly those yearly donations won't be enough to pay the new bills it takes to keep up, and that's when the whole paradigm shifts from a fun hobby, to one big sh@tload of work and a whole new bucket of decisions to make about where the funds are going to come from.

Yeah. That pretty much sums it up, and it's all dependent on which time zone you live in here in the U.S. or whatever time of night or day it might be over there in the U.K. or in the Netherlands. (y) :ROFLMAO:

You didn't see the story I posted.

I signed up 5 years ago, but once I was in I noticed that everyone's IP address was displayed at the bottom of every post. That's a huge privacy concern. It's bad enough that moderators can see your IP address and look up your location. So I logged out, and never returned until recently.
