I have to say I got the flu vax about 15 years ago and got real sick ...bad flu. Don't remember even ever having it before that honestly. No dice here.

All it means is that the vaccination has not kept up with the many mutations of the virus.
Vaccinations do work if the vaccine is current with the mutation....
It's a constant race.
And of course: one minor drawback...
the more people who are vaccinated, the more new mutations are created. The vaccine causes the virus to mutate.
