Van down by the river

I can easily drive it back to Minnesota from Washington...
For real though: it's a '76 4040 model. It's good for rowcropping, and that's about it.

I have spent more hours in that tractor....I can't even begin to tell lol

The 4430, too...nowadays we have track machines and giant 4wd pullers.....and then there's the orchard side where we have 4wd cabless glorified lawn tractors pulling bushogs through the grass between trees...

Farming isn't an occupation. It's a lifestyle. Straight up. Those machines are life itself lol

When I entered the work force, I went to work at a J.I. Case tractor dealership. Later known as CaseIH. And even later know as Case New Holland. As such.... (and this is tongue in cheek).... the John Deere guys were the "bad guys." And yet and to this day, the only tractor I have ever driven in the field pulling a chisel plow was a JD 4430 of a close friends. Anyway.... Meet "Old Abe."
