Valve production is starting back up

Here in Oz they are referred to as a "valve" too. They are called valves because they control the flow of electrons, so theoretically act as a valve.
Kinda surprised they didn't want your help in some way Don, you are very knowledgeable. Hopefully they have some on the team that were involved in valve production back in the day. I can imagine that quite a bit of technical production knowledge has been lost to the sands of time. Cheers

I think at least part of it is that I live a hundred miles away and I'm only available part of the time, The midlands are the heart of old industrial England and there are actually plenty of people like me up there, including some who used to be in valve design and manufacture, who can give a load more time. You're right that plenty of old knowledge has been lost, but I'm betting most of it can be recreated.
