I am hoping maybe Gibson will put out a Mesa head you can buy for under $1000 new. I mean their 25w mini head is what $1600.00? The cheapest used 25w on Reverb is $850....I have found a Mesa combo here or there on craigslist for $500-600. Not that I need one or anything but you never know. If Orange can do it they should be able to?Yep, couple weeks ago. They tend to buy into other companies and ultimately, the deals end in pretty short time. They owned Trace Elliot and Orange for brief periods in the 90s and early 2000s
Hopefully they will use their team to produce these quicker and more affordably but im not holding my breath lol the two individually are notorious for pricing and together, i wonder?I am hoping maybe Gibson will put out a Mesa head you can buy for under $1000 new. Like every other brand....Fender etc....Epiphone etc....but they also make non Asian made models also.they will -- they will be made in CHINA -- or Korea -- Or Vietnam -- and be targeted at the Orange and Marshall DSL and Blackstar and Bugera ....and....and.... buyers![]()

I wouldn't doubt that at all. You know why I know they will? Because you got rid of yours alreadyyep but I wouldnt expect the non asian models to come down any in price--- there is even speculation the "PRE GIBSON" used Mesas will JUMP UP in price
Why should they?I am hoping maybe Gibson will put out a Mesa head you can buy for under $1000 new.
Why should they?
That would destroy MESA's image.
(and - for those can't or won't afford a Mesa amp there are plenty of good alternatives around.)
... are they? Especially the tube amps?by making the affordable heads?
