TVvoodoo's Straplab

Whoa! What a morning!

I was busily messaging with a TGP'er we all know and love about a suitable strap for this monster,
(which he decided upon, and it's gonna be epic - I already started on it today a little bit)...

Then in the middle of that, a fellow not sure if he's a forum brother, but boy-oh-boy what a brother! Slides into my reverb store and BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! it was like parking you boat on top of a school of hungry walleye!

He picked up the latest "Swaggerman" which I only listed yesterday, didn't get a chance to talk about it here... (sometimes that happens, and exactly why you gotta watch my reverb store).

He also grabbed up the No Prisoners "Eviller Twin" (Evil Twin still available)

One of the remaining "Burntwood" series

And the final available "Lunch with Lucifer"

I felt such an epic purchase deserved a free T-shirt, so while we were discussing his size etc....
BAM!, he also grabbed up one of my Prophecy straps for his vintage burst J-45

Tyler noted to me he'd seen my message about the threatened trade action coming in a few weeks and told me "I hate seeing how the ***** **** down here is impacting your business and want to stock up. The two I got from you a while back have been amazing."

You know, I couldn't help but get a little misty about that while I was packing up what will be a LEGENDARY strap package. And if any of you who have got multi-packages from me will know, I do try to make it a little bit of an event for you, as much as a sale like this is a huge event for me.

It'll be the the kind of NSD you'd want to turn the lights down, open a nice bottle of port, fire up a candle or two, maybe some incense (etc) while you enjoy the unboxing.

Anyway.... Second biggest order in Well-Hung history, other than from regional guitar stores. So Ty, if you are watching... you are a beast, and curated an absolute banger of a shipment here.

Not saying anyone here should do the same, but yeah, you know you want to. LOL!
Off the a 99th birthday party for my uncle!

Today a custom Brimstone for Wes, is a studio musician... not yet sure out of where.... He needed one about eight inches shorter than my regular would adjust and I don't like modding current straps by the amount he needed because it can basically wreck 'em.

Often, when I do custom work, if the opportunity is there, I'll add a bonus monogram on the tail strap. I like that his initials are the same as W-H. But basically it's the same as any other Brimstone in my Reverb store, just about eight inches shorter.

If you are looking through this thread, and don't see all the beautiful pics, or the seem to appearing then disappearing well it's because of a tech hiccup. Apparently, (and I haven't done much for research), the imgbox photo host site I normally used based in the Netherlands has been shut down by authorities *temporarily* as somebody reported some very bad stuff possibly being stored or shared via nefarious site users, so now some sort of investigation. It is my sincere hope the site will be back up and links reliably linking again once it all settles out. We put a lot of trust on these sites, and honestly imgbox has provided amazing stability and great service to me for many years.

There was no warning because it all came down real fast. Just wanted to let you know. It's frustrating for probably thousands and thousands of users

So with the high possibility of punitive 50% tariffs coming levied on USA customers, courtesy of you-know-who just wanted to let you know i've gone in to my store and did a bit of price "adjusting" marking probably 25-30 straps down in price - be nice to clean house a bit before it all comes down.

Currently seeing a bit of a pop in both regular and custom business, some of it I know is regulars trying to beat the rush... Kind of a funny story...

Back in March, Don in Indiana bought 3 pairs of my own design strap buttons (Pro-Pins) in nickel, plus three more sets black. Told me he was weaning himself off of Schallers. I didn't bother asking why... to me the answer is obvious. I personally detest metal straplocks, no matter what flavour.

Anyway, in May, he told me he installed all six sets and was very impressed... proceeding to order up TWELVE more pairs, six more of each. This happens often, well OK, not that many at a time, but people almost always return for more. At the time we got to discussing how he preferred certain types of guitars and general friendly guitarman chat, which I often enjoy. He sent me a picture, I sent him A dozen more sets.

Yesterday he messages me saying he needs TWELVE more! Half again in each colour, plus one rogue black one, as he'd used three black buttons on a previous guitar. Happy to accommodate.

But I understood his message as 3 pairs of each, to equal twelve total buttons, not a whole DOZEN more pairs. so, I had to send out another six sets this morning to complete other half of his order.
This morning I jokingly accused him of possibly reselling my buttons... he countered he's just getting started...

Prelubed, with a no wobble screw, wide, smooth bell, and roomy spool. Genuine fur felt washers, not finish-eating plastic.

"I'm getting these on the Les Pauls now...." Don tells me, "... and I like them better than the standard oversized I was favoring before, as thick leather straps fit better. So this time, I just want to have some extras on hand going forward."

Custom Métis sash strap, "Rebellion" I call it, was born on my bench today. It's going to Manitoba tomorrow as a gift for an elder, who's been involved in youth camps as I understand it. This sash is semi-sacred cultural thing for them, I try to be respectful of it.

I do suggest you check out my reverb store if you are looking for a deal, and want to get your guitar Well-Hung before the tariffs happen.
Having to pay 50% more to Uncle Samuel is gonna to really sting you later on, so I'd get in under the wire if you can
