TVvoodoo's Straplab

And @GrooVey it sold already! WOW! Gone to North Carolina Didn't expect that. Sometimes I think things will sit in the store for months. ZOOM! it's gone. Then, I make somethin' I feel will get snapped up in mere hours. Nope. Still looking at it here two years later LOL!

We guitarists are a fickle bunch.

Newly listed just a few minutes ago... "Blues Royal" No lettuce and tomato or cheese on these, only a bold bright metallic gold leather lightnin' bolt. Skulls embossed into that bolt too. It's doesn't sit on a throne of lies, it's stitched upon a muted mule-blue garment leather base, 3" wide, padded. Lots more pics over on Reverb.

Again, last night I adjusted around 45 listings from the back of the store moving frontwards last night, repricing US shipping, and lowering prices on many of the stale stock items hoping to slim down inventory. If you want to look at it another way, it could also be taken as a welcome back for all y'alls Yankee Doodle Dandies. Will continue repricing shipping to include duty, opening more listings to the USA market this evening.

Over the years one of the more convincing ways I've found to attain vintage "cool" in a guitar strap is via braided, or woven leather. The term "vibe" is way-overused these days, (guilty as charged), but there's no question braided leather totally brings all kinds of that late 60's early 70's energy! @GrooVey knows!

"Mr Mojo Risin' " is fresh off the StrapLab bench ready to jump onstage to steer you towards that Lizard King mindset you've been seeking,
help you get away with practically anything!

A great example of my Well-Hung way of turning a quality belt into a guitar strap. I'm fully aware guitarists have been modding belts into guitar straps for decades, amateurs and pros alike. I may be the only one doing it at scale with my long-running W-H tribal favourite "No Prisoners" series. I'm likely nearing around two hundred of them by now, not all of them like this, in fact each becomes it's very own thing, which I think is extra fun for the owners.

I do make sure the leather is conditioned with good Fiebings conditioner, so while it won't appear brand new, it'll look like it's at least been taken care of, and have a handsome leather aroma too. This is by my count 17 strands... all told 2-7/8" wide. I was able to pad it on the inside, also. Goes approx 44" to 64" - if that ain't long enough for you, you should be playing basketball instead!

Anyway, Mr. Mojo Risin' is there in the store now, wide, comfy, cool While I didn't do any of the braiding, I'm still very proud to be able to offer up things that practically shout "handmade." And, it's a very practical guitar strap, all that braid makes it quite strong and flexible too.

The opening of Well-Hung Reverb store stock and re-pricing of items will continue tonight, dealz are there.
Sent off two this morning to Californy to returning US Warrior-veteran Nate.

Today I made something I've been cooking in my brain for some time, but finally got at it.

My long-runnning Devil's Leash series featuring the old-school Saugerties pattern ribbon on 3" wide leather base, got a fun addition! The first ever pair I've done with a nice cowhide suede for the main body section. The nose tail and ladder sections remain top grain cowhide with contrasting stitching.

Padded body, length of this pair maxes out at 57 and 55, as short as 40". Just always wanted to try this ribbon with a nice suede and they came out quite nice. Super soft. The lining is velvet that will also stop neck dive dead, like most of my straps. PLus the 20 inches or so of 1" thick proper density foam padding built-in along the main section.

NO stanky-wanky finish-eatin' vinyl, no sticky-dicky neoprene, weird alien "comfort nubbies," sketchy plastic buckles, scary metal loops, "old-man" harness support straps, questionable plastic locking gizmos... none of that.

Just a solid design with plenty of honest leather, tough fabric, strong thread and heavenly padding!

Now adding duty to USA shipping on all my Reverb listings nightly, about two dozen a night for the past few nights. This is gradually revealing all my store items for US browsers. Also, I am judiciously slashing prices on a good number of my older stock items moving as I work from the back of the store towards the newer stuff. I will NOT be discounting my newer stuff, but I won't be getting into that stock until likely Sunday.

I'll never make up ground lost over the last six months, but I'm still here and 100% ready to prove to my guitar brethren Well-Hung provides a guitar comfort experience you never thought possible!

Fellas... I think I've mentioned it before here... it's been a wacky six months. I'm working, trying to stay busy but it's been hard to be motivated when no orders need filling. That was the biggest result of the whole 35% tariff thing just too the steam out of my engine. I'm not whining or whatever, life just don't always go the way we want it too, and that's OK. We just gotta keep on keepin' on!

Creatively stuff has come fairly easy to me for most of my life but I'm only just now starting to feel new small sparks again happening, been in a sort of drought for weeks and weeks. Barely even played any guitar, no writing lyrics. Even staying off the AI stuff too and I'm even paying for the dang thing.

Been actually toying with the piano for a couple weeks, I have the most simple chords and melody to "Amazing Grace" figured out but I'll be damned if I can't put the two together! It's like a mental/physical fence I can't force my way through.

Anyway I just want to thank EVERYONE who swings by here, casting a like, dropping a cool combo pic, saying nice things. You fellas aren't just randos in the nethers to me, I truly feel you as happy brothers. The understanding is, you being there for me, as I for you. I think maybe I've been failing 'n flailing a bit so I better start stepping up!

I post a lot of places but TTR is always my first stop, (and last one too) whenever I wander the web, and only partly because you fellas are all so exceedingly handsome or smart, but because you are totally worth the time and then some!

That's not so true of many other places, so... :thanx:

We’re family Brad. We have each other backs.

Meet brother @brentrocks - a faithful Michigan W-H militia warrior. Tireless pitchman for the tribe, shares bone-crunching tones 'n knarly riffs with a bevy of Heritage instruments on IG. I'm 100% sure that's a strap called "Tribble."

What I can't be sure of is that "lite beer" sign. I believe it may be merely aspirational, likely placed there by his wife.

check @mert_the_brent on IG if you dare!
OK, so I have just one more night of conversions for the US market, another few dozen to go, and all will be searchable, seeable, claimable by the USA brethren once again. Quite a project. I have discounted hundreds of dollars of value partially as a welcome, to clean up some older stock and I guess it could be construed as a slight offset to the tarrif/duty. Generally for US citizens it's adding approx 11-13 percent to my typical price depending on the item and materials. Turns out the costs end up about the same as shipping a strap all the way to Norway, when duties and fees are worked in. I have sent out a few already, now monitoring things closely to see if there are any additional surprises at the arriving end.
Haven't yet visited the Well-Hung Shop on Reverb and have been wondering? Looks a lot like this.

This is just like the first page of FIVE individual listings! So I'd say lots to see, many of them one-offs. Also note my "Preferred Seller" status, "Quick Responder" (don't ask my wife), and "Quick Shipper" badges. These are earned, not purchased. I'd would be remiss if I failed to mention my ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1,250 5-Star Reverb Feedbacks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ which I am rather proud of, since 2013
I'm also cognizant of the fact there's a number of folks here who are not Reverb-friendly. I'm quite willing to work outside that platform, though it's a bit more trouble and expect no big savings as paypal's international conversion fees are rather ridonculous, and goods end up costing about the same as reverb's cross border charges AND the reverb fees together. But I'm willing. Shipping typically averages 8-10 days to most US continental cities.
Always willing to field questions.
