TVvoodoo's Straplab

Working on "Ace of Spades #2" right now... outside on the lawn drying between die jobs. Without much heat from the sun, things take a lot longer to dry.
getting up to not little more than 50F here today.

And as you can plainly see, yes... *heavy sigh* autumn is in full swing up here in the Northern Boreal forest. Time to start thinking about
a chimney clean, wood supply and pulling out the long-johns again.

Love this one!

Ace of Spades #2 is complete!

Figured I'd try to go with a tobacco sunburst kind of thing. Pretty successful! Black edges, fade into brown to an amber center bolt of badassitude!
padded, goes up to about 57" long.

I used my relatively new 2-ton arbor press from Grizzly to stamp the skulls in. Still learning and tweaking some things, but this one did not make my
arm hurt for two days after I finished getting all them Ace/skulls pounded in, and better impressions too.

Very Well Done!

If anyone here is aware of the Well-Hung "Endorserment Program," there is a ballot-earning opportunity on the TDPRI presently - where there is discussion of quality strapmakers.

Link: Who makes a decent strap?

I would sure like representation in that thread, I believe I deserve it, but I can't post about myself or I'll get banhammered into oblivion. TDPRI is extra militant about that stuff. But any users or boosters can post pics, links, and say all kinds of nice things if they want to.

Maybe I should explain a bit more since I am now an approved vendor here....

The Well-Hung Endorserment Program is where Well-Hung Guitar Strap/or product users pipe up about Well-Hung products on various worthy place on the internet.
The above TDPRI thread being a superb example of an opportunity for owners to earn a ballot or two, or three or four....

Those who take part, simply need post a photo, one of my strap videos, or a few words of a review, and a link to my reverb store in the thread in an ideal place such as the above TDPRI link, so it appears to come from the wild, organic. Reddit, F-book (on an applicable guitar group page), instagram, TDPRI, MLP, TGP, strat-talk etc. Basically it's spam on my behalf. but that's really what endorserments are, right? If you like what I do, the best compliment you can give me is a shout-out/referral. Now, I don't really want people to start new account and post, that looks suspect. But if you are member of a forum or social media anyway, and enjoy being Well-Hung, you have absolutely nothing to lose, and the karma attached to your earned ballots will spill over into your life too!

When you notify me you did this and send me a link, I will update the endorserment ballot list I am keeping on Facebook, and give you one ballot for each post in my annual Year End Customer Appreciation draw. All you need is one Well-Hung strap, and you can post it in as many forum threads as you wish throughout the year. There is no limit on how many ballots you can add to the raffle draw. I draw for straps, shirts, pro-pins, swag etc, and have been doing this for five or six years now. People are shocked I give away hundred dollar straps. but I do to those who earn a chance.

****** Edit *****

Nobody want a ballot? Don't complain when I make the draw for free straps in the New Year and you didn't even have a shot!
New in the Reverb store this morning... "Zircon"

I don't know who is badass enough to wear this, but I sure ain't! It would go perfectly with your caped tuxedo and crystal skull-capped walking stick though.

Today in the StrapLab I dug deep and used up some more black leather. Inspired by a classic rock band, (though I doubt if any of you could guess which one).

According to Sheb, this was a nice part of the hide of a genuine alien Purple People-Eater. Thankfully, the jobs of thousands of tootally-dootelly sax players remain safe.
