Ambassador of The Comfortably Slung
Finished what will be the final strap out of the dead man moto chaps I was given - No Prisoners theme... "Road Warrior." Beautiful leather. Heavy duty tour-ready strap.
I added a bit of metallic gunmetal fabric to subtly show through the grommets just because, nothing says you can't be badass AND fabulous at the same time.
Also, for the holiday shopping season I've had a mind to again offer up a floating pad style, not sure if I've shown that here yet.
Made out of Dirty Honey Python embossed cowhide, these are my re-think of the classic. Because they are Well-Hung, expect few differences from what you'll find in your typical guitar store.
1. Wider pad, at just a hair under 3" wide X 12" long. Straps are about 1-3/8" wide.
2. Memory foam padding, the whole assembly lined and reinforced with a dark camel microsuede that is mold, mildew and fire resistant. Even Johnny Goo's hottest riffs won't light these on fire.
3. They go Lonnnnnnnng... about 45"- 60"
4. The pad won't slip all over the place and drive you around the bend.
5. Hand-burnished black harness leather ends you will think are total overkill at first, but will soon grow to love.
Not much else to say, but that I'm kind of proud of these.

Today working on a series of 4 new Dirty Honey Python jobbies, while I had that python leather out.

It's one of those straps that pops most finishes in a really good way. One of the few I repeat, steady seller. Sold the last one I had "in inventory" LOL earlier this week. Probably be able to make a total of 12 or so before this gorgeous leather is all used up.

also found one in inventory, not listed on Reverb for some reason... took some fresh pics... Genocide padded leather skull embossed strap, in pewter
Also as promised, the Dirty Honeys went up, but for some reason there are now only three left. One of the damn things got away before I could list it up, they's fiesty alright.
Hey, if you guys are anything like me, you may have a problem coming up with an idea for the wife, girlfriend, partner, bandmate etc for Christmas gifting or similar, don't ask for some thing off amazon comes from China. Get something from a small business, local, or here in North America. Hey, if you mention to your gal you're interested in being Well-Hung, she might agree that's a helluva idea.

More pythons nearly ready, in a gray/black/white scheme, but have put those aside for a custom order of two Well-Hung No Prisoners style straps incorporating flashy belts.
These are at about the halfway point before I call it a day today. Should be done maybe und noon tomorrow. Need to assemble, pad and then sew it all together.
Colours look strange in this photo, must be the fluorescent lights - but two very cool straps on the way for a serious stage rockin' fella you all know and love.

^ My pleasure to build for my brothers, @Jethro Rocker . When they arrive you might think they come from like another planet where the guitars are near twice as heavy, and strapmakers have pride in what they make and ship out.
today I completed and listed on the Reverb four more graphite pythons which is one of the straps popular enough to repeat runs of, because they are pretty dang hot on so many guitars.
They exude the all the ass of badness, (is that a thing?) any fellow could want and need.
Also sent out a order of three pairs of my own design strap buttons (I call the Pro-Pins, oversize jumbo strap buttons) to a Luthier/Builder fellow in Maryland.
It was Jeff's third time coming back to me for more of these buttons. I probably should call him up and get him to make a bulk purchase sometime. Costs near as much
to ship a few sets out as the price of the hardware.
I'm pretty sure I have shown these here already, but I believe strongly in the darn things.
They just solve so many issues, without krazy klunky gadgetry, installation pitfalls and work easily with every stock strap I have tried them on. Very simple and clean-looking security.

Here are some shots of the new lads! Nice rolled edges, extreme padding, custom one of a kind. Big one with studs has gun metal fabric under holes, the other is tweed.
Tweed might work for the Lzzy Hale Explorer too. Hmmmm!

I actually use a mallet with plastic ends. I used a regular ball pean hammer for a bit but that's a great way to wreck your punches.
that hammer will fix a lot of problems LOL! I have a 10 lb maul I used to like to swing. Now my shoulders can't take much of that and
I got me a log splitter.
Canadian dogs don't bark at all. they just go for the throat without warning because we hardly feed them. Rez dogs. like wolves, they pretend they want to be petted, all tail waggy and smiley... then BAM, suddenly there's twenty of them all the same but different, and you're surrounded, and they start to drool and suddenly don't look quite so smiley and start low growlin' and the hackles are all standy uppy and you pray for johnny's muffler to backfire so you can maybe try to escape by rolling into the back of a passing truck - my mom had a macaw for years. Said a few words, poop! was one. I bit me once I never took it out of the cage again. STRONG! I think it's responsible for my parents hearing loss too. Loud MF.
