I have a tuner , but lost my other one somewhere so needed to replace the one I lost. I have the blue Snark SN1 and find that its fairly accurate. So went over to the shop yesterday to check on some different ones. You guys know there are many to choose from anyway finally made my choice and picked up the Korg Pitch Crow-G clip on tuner I find its pretty accurate more accurate than the Snark. In Chromatic mode it has a fine tuning feature the meter changes to a strobe setting allowing the Instrument to be tuned more accurately.

I have used "Da Tuner" app for my Android smartphone for a few years now and it works simply great! The best part is that it is free. You can set it to any tuning like concert pitch (432 Hz) or standard pitch (440 Hz) or any other pitch you desire. If you have an Android smartphone I would highly recommend downloading this app. It's very accurate IMHO.

Not a fan of clip ons. They can dick up nitro and most of my guitars are finished in nitro, sooo Boss pedal for me.
I think they'll "dick up" just about any finish if you leave them on all the time, and also, if you are not careful enough when clipping them on and off. I leave mine only long enough to tune the guitar anyways. I use the Polytune Clip to tune my acoustic guitars, and my electrics when they are not plugged in.

Pedal tuners: I'm very biased towards my Peterson Classic Stomp. However, there are a few other excellent pedal tuners for half the price...

Clip-On Tuners: My current favorite, the TC Electronic Polytune Clip...

I really like my Polytune Clip. I tend to leave it on the headstock, but rearward. Not much shows that way. I play and sing, and I’m to inept to juggle it around live. I love the quick check all 6 strings feature in a live situation.

I don't know why I''m not looking at my reply, but I just wanted to say I believe I'll switch to yours, by texred.

I checked them out and somewhere said Pano was best. Don't know about that, but mine works perfectly, except you have to turn everything off down to the A/C. One day I checked against the Snark, and they read exactly the same. Oh yeah, that was app for android also free.

The battery's for some of the little clip on cost near as much as the tuners. I plug directly into the Peterson on stage. It's bright enough to see from a few feet away.
