My favourite, Korg Pitchblack Poly, is not in the list. For live use it is the best tuner I’ve used. One strum across all strings and you can see which strings are sharp or flat then tune each string individually if needed. The LEDs are big and bright, easily readable on the stage. I find it is very accurate, accurate enough that I can use it to set intonation.

My sensei swears by these and he uses them on stage to tune to Ab standard in what is definitely not a quiet band
Indeed. I have found the TC clip quite useful for situations that require some speed in getting the job done.
I particularly like that it falls right in to polyphonic mode...great for a quick peek at the situation.
Meanwhile, the StroboStomp‘s always active onscreen display is nice...the foot switch only mutes output.

Like the Polytune. I have a Polytune and find that multi string feature very useful with the FR locking guitars. As I tune 1 string I can see the effect on the others and get them close before individual fine tunjng.

I voted other. I've been using the Sonic Research ST-300 for quite a few years, very accurate & very adjustable strobe tuner, accurate to 0.02 cent & with 5 pre-set features & drop tunable to 9 semitonesIMG_20200330_174841.jpg
But it was getting a little hard to see properly on my board without putting my glasses on, which I'm supposed to wear all the time (with another pair for reading), but don't, especially for gigs.
So, I recently got the Petterson Stomp Classic for use on my boardIMG_20200330_175037.jpg
Not as accurate (0.1 cent) & about AU$100 more costly, it is still a great, feature laden strobe tuner that is much easier to see on my board as it is physically larger, as is it's displayIMG_20200330_175221.jpg
The Petterson is easier to use in a gig situation due to the Sonic Research's much greater accuracy. That Sonic Research is great for set-ups, & if your eyes are better than mine (or you use your glasses), also great for on your board. Cheers

The main thing I don't like about the Korg is that if you tell it that you are tuning down two steps so that the polyphonic feature will still work it tells you C is E, F is A, Bb is D, Eb is G, G is B, etc. I find this annoying and confusing. I'm going to set it back to standard tuning and just ignore it if it tells me that I am out of tune. I don't trust polyphonic mode for much anyway. I might just set it to full strobe mode

i understand now...in the drop days..tuners seem to really waver more so than in standard. I would tune up...spot on..check real quick again before the record button is hit..all the sudden..no register..then a radical waving back n forth..only thing figured out was very very precisely fret the note..the very light pressure....down tuned bass tuning stunk..

We should just start a pedal mutual fund. When times are good we just dump money into that and buy a lot of pedals for when the next pandemic starts and then we just ship them out to shareholders when the going gets tough.

BTW, just got an email about this....good timing Vox:
If I was in the market for a new tuner, definitely give this one serious thought.

However, thinking my tuners will be outliving me.

I tried the phone apps in place of a tuner pedal; never worked well for me.

I kept breaking the phone after a few stomps.

Really, they didnt work well, I may have to try newer ones, esp for acoustic.
I am always looking for a clip on with a live battery.

The Donner cheapy pedal I have works well, but I dont have a better one to compare it to.

A young fellow came into the shop, when I was just going to tune a guitar , he said here had his cell phone app for tuning. It was terrible didn't work well at all , I continued to tune with the Korg that the shop had.
