I have a ROland Micro Cube I like very much for home use-- its got killer tone for a TINY little battery SS amp---

I didn't know this is a one wins over another thread. I was stating my preference.

Try this with a solid state amp. Live radio broadcast, with my '69 SG into my DST30 (AC30 clone). This is where tubes are fun, and rise to top. The studio was on the third floor of an old building in Medford, and I'm surprised that both me and the amp didn't go for a ride down those stairs.

Actually, yes I do. I have an '86 or '87 Marshall Lead 12. I don't like it, so I never use it. It has a hiss that I can't find the source of, and/or get rid of. Haven't touched it in years.
