LOL!! People made fun of me everyday for driving that. Everywhere I went, people would start singing...."Let me tell y'all a story 'bout a man named Jed...." or they would holler, "Hey! Where's Jethro and Ellie Mae?"

Eventually, I started wearing a rope belt and just ran with it. They would ask about Ellie Mae and I would say she was still drunk from last night and stayed home. It's funny now, it was a little less funny back then.

Cool was so important then, at least where I went to school, that you had a tough time finding a date if you drove an old rig like that...or lived on the other side of the creek..... :)
