So the story goes
I pulled into this dusty little poop hole town lot like where I came from. I notice they have a little convenience store a post office and a salon. So I come walking down the gravel street figured screw it I'll see if I can get a drink at the salon. I walk in hoping they don't card me. Go up and take a seat at a bar stool. This long haired hippie looking chap comes up and asks (what will you have?). I look him square in the eyes and say I'll take a Black Tooth Grin. This chap looks me over real good and says (how old are you, you got ID card?) At this point I'm thinking well this is f#@ked. Realizing that I made a mistake I get up and head for the swinging doors when a tall slider man in a cowboy hat steps in. I can't see a face because of the glare from the sun to his back. In a deep voice he said (is that you LRT?) At this point I'm looking for an escape route. How the hell does he know my name? Reluctantly I reply um ya. He starts walking toward me and replies (I think you have something for me) As he approaches me I start to make out a face and I'm shaking in my boots. He look me up and down and says (I thought you'd be bigger) scared

less not knowing what to do I ask him what he wants from me. He just stands there a minute and the anticipation is killing me. Next thing out of his mouth was (I'm the cowboy) suddenly I fell relieved he's not going to kill me. I say to him man you scared the poop out of me I thought I was a goner. Then I bring my eyes back up to look him in the eye and say so your here for my 3 bolt peavey and my camel amp. He replies (yes you had me sold with that audio clip you put up with your add.) So I said let me go grab that gear and you can test it out. So I head out to my trusty old Ugo and pull it out the back seat and return to the salon. We sit down at a table and the cowboy buys me a drink. The hippie looking dude behind the counter looks disgusted by this but brings the drinks anyway. After sipping on our drinks for a few the cowboy pulls out a billfold man was it thick. He says (I don't need to test it out that audio clip brought tears to my eyes and I knew I just had to have it.) He reaches into the billfold and pulls a wad of cash out then reaches in his pocket and grabs some change. He tells me (here is the 4015.99.) I look back at him and say I think your a penny short when he replies (I need to feel like I haggled the price down.) So I accepted his offer. I finally finish my drink and get up from the table and head out to my Ugo. On my way back home I'm thinking that was close I hope he's happy
So with the 4015.99 I got from the sale I'm off to reverb
For my first purchases I found this sexy silverburst Gibson 84 V with hard case for $2100

Next purchase was a rip your face off air displacement amp. As hard as I tried to look for something else I just couldn't get away from a Marshall. This amp with the 1960 A cab supporting what should be 4 GT75 speakers with a hi gain dual reverb JCM 900 sitting on it was a perfect fit. This amp will have plenty of dB to get the crowds attention.
This set back my wallet by $1231.55 leaving me a good range for some pedals

Next I add into the gear chain is an EQ to get full control over the amp by adding to the loop. The MXR 10 will allow me to get that extra bite that the amp just doesn't have.
This set the bill roll back $114.95

Now this is only because the cowboy told me that if I didn't add a chorus he wouldn't go through with the buying my old gear. I gave him my word not that I'll ever use it but who knows. Guess I'll through it in the loop with the EQ.
So for $65 I found a boss CH-1 super
This is a Boss Super Chorus CH-1. It’s in perfect condition I just got a new chorus pedal so I don’t need this one anymore. It sounds really good and it’s fun to use. Price is negotiable. Message me with any questions!

Now that the loop has been taken care of it's time for the front side. To start with I think I need some control of the tone from the guitar. I put a boss GE7 and now I should be able to make some funk.
This was a easily tolerable purchase of $80

Now for the final touch I add in an OD pedal to get that extra push to really make this gear bark. I add in after the GE7 a good old TS808 this has what it takes to finish off that metal tone.
Modeling and boutique pedal makers have copied the smooth and full tone of this pedal countless times. Now you can have Ibanez's faithful reissue at a price that doesn't break the bank. The reissue features the same JRC4558D IC chip and analog circuitry as the original. Controls include overdrive...

In the conversation with the cowboy we got talking about music. I told him I was a metal head climbing the ladder to success. At this point he told me he was a big time Dime fan, that explained the smile when the long haired hippie brought me my drink and said here's you Black Tooth Grin
After all was said and done my over all was a total of $3753.49
This left me with $262.99
With the leftover I think we all know what rock stars do! D.A.P.
It was awwsome
