I can’t help that i fell in love with guitar in Grade school it was First Grade ! I would kick everyone’s ass on my way to the instrument Closet to get the only acoustic guitar.keep in mind this is 1971 ish. When music lessons were offered i asked my Dad to let me get a guitar to learn Instead i Got a f$&king Trumpet! That only lasted a week and returned to baldwin music

It wasn't your baby, she was a complete ho. Plus that sweet Jackson Custom deserves to go on the road.
@DangerousR6 very ably filled in for you for Chapter one. As a result you look to be in little danger of being voted out.
HOWEVER, if you do not come in to OFFICIALLY claim your place moving forward with the game by letting me know
before end of day today, I will give @DangerousR6 the opportunity to move into your place and take on the next kick-ass
fun challenge for Chapter 2! (Which will also be revealed later tonight).
Danger, you ok with that? Or would you prefer staying in the Alternate Player position?
Losing two players is fully an option. Cowboy would LOVE that, less trouble for him to worry about

Hey! I used to play the trumpet in marching band and the guitar in Jazz band. The trumpet is cool!

At least you got trumpet. When I went to my parents with the same exact thing in 2nd grade, guitar was out and my options were piano or accordion ... didn't pick the squeeze box.

So did I Mr. Potato Head. Played from gr. 5 through to 12, marching band too! Got into university on a music scholarship, was in the U of S concert band for a year and a half. Tried to play one a few years ago, no embouchure left AT ALL
This one time at band camp? I met the most beautifully skilled flute player
Don't diss the brass. Always wished I had taken up the saxamaphone instead tho

I tried to play trumpet a while back too and no go anymore either for same reason. I had actually considered buying a cheap one for fun.So did I Mr. Potato Head. Yeah saw one for $75 thought maybe I'd just hang it on the wall of my little gear grotto, but it's so tiny I got no wall space
I am fully with you on Chet, and Chuck too - that's why I like CAKE, and 54-40, rock bands that mix in a little horn from time to time
and lately I can't stop listening to frickin' Morphine, super hot sax

Bunch of us seems to have followed the same path. Only I did trombone from 6th-12th grade. Also marching band. Our little town if you were band and didn’t do sports as well…. It was an automatic. You were in marching band. Didn’t start with guitar till a year out of HS.

I mean if you loved the Trumpet and it was fun for ya i am all in for you but for me
I did not like it much it ended music dreams until after highschool when i could buy my first guitar

After my pops listening to some of the music I had bought.. about 1971-72 he bought me an my brother a Teisco guitar, and I got a small Alamo tube amp with a very puny speaker.
We also had a Venture’s learn how to play guitar album.. but my dumb ass didn’t know what the string were or how they were numbered.
So I didn’t learn much..
Later I got put into guitar lessons.
It was a class of many.
Imagine my shock when on my first day, I was the only person who brought a guitar and amp !!
Still no one mentioned the string names, they , the instructors would just walk around an tune everyone’s guitar…
Just didn’t learn to much back then.
I finally learned how to properly tune the guitar when I was just out of HS
