Rare, but not unheard of, it happens. I remember when I was a kid a tornado ripped thru Tampa and did a bunch of damage.
I have friends in he Tampa / Sarasota area. Been keeping m up to date on the fun they’re having.Wow, I didn't even know there was a storm! My whole family lives in or around the Tampa area and no one told me!
I'm going to check on them in the morning. My guess is it isn't as bad as the hype (as usual) or they would have come up to TN to stay with me. I've been thru I don't even remember how many hurricanes and the hype is usually much worse than what actually happens. Hell when I was a kid growing up in Tampa we would get tropical storms like this one and not even know because the weather man didn't even talk about it. All I knew was it was raining for days on end, but we didn't know why.
They prefer to hit trailer parks. As long as you're not near one, you should be ok.
I did check in with Adrian. Asked how things were. I knew from a friend that lives in Sarasota that they’d gotten around 15” of rain in basically a day. I think Adrian live about an hour or so north and east of there. His response was short.Batten down the hatches Hack. Ill check on Adrian
