Trying something out of my wheelhouse

I loved it slow heavy progression that takes you on a journey, you need to do some more of this KB.
The canvas is wide open here, the only thing I would do to it is, put a slow chugging bridge into the center, then come back to those soaring melodic lead pieces you where already doing.
Did I mention that I loved it.

If you where my neighbor we could put together a couple of albums in no time.
Thanks for sharing your work brother
Cheers

the art of the breakdown..good call. I use it as a reset & a blender of the chord progression & incorporate the drum then in so continuity passes from early build to ending crescendo type thing...basically have no idea what i'm doing lol..but that sounded like i do

Here's my latest version. I have a question about recording. On the lead track I can hear my fingers sliding on the string. Is there a way to lose that noise or is it just technique with my fretting hand.? I've added an introduction with a twelve string and also a twelve string track playing the power chords. The lead track starts out loud then goes quieter with a simple repeating riff. That's where I want to add some vocals. Once again constructive criticism is invited. This genre is very new to me.

It’s a very deep and joyful journey
The open canvas for the lyric melody is broad, and I would love to hear a bridge section to put the icing on the cake.
Thanks for sharing your work this is some awesome music , even if it is not what your comfortable with.
Sounds to me as if you are comfortable with so much more.

I am in a"mood", so I just penned a title and some lyrics while listening to your song
===================================

"My Backyard"

Don’t mind trying, this old town.

Been here before, I’ve stomped these grounds.

This is the :poo: that made me proud, that made me tough, then put me down.

This is the place that I come from, but it got old, became unwound.

============

F-kc your roads and f-kc your woods.

And f-kc all those who thought I could.

I fed this earth with tears and blood.

And grew a hunger, twisted manhood

=============

Take me home, take me back.

Join the fire, cinders and black.

Join the party, you helped to make.

Test your will, your soul to take.

==============

F-kc your roads and f-kc your woods.

And f-kc all that you thought was good.

I fed this earth with tears and blood.

And grew a hunger, twisted manhood

=========

I warned you not to ride me hard.

Way back when, in my backyard.

The water’s fine jump on in.

Join my life of blissful sin!
