I thought I would share a picture of the very cool Roland JC-120 Jazz Chorus. I threw together a little board for the amp switches from some scrap wood. I am using BOSS FS-6 [set as both latching), FS-5L (latching) for the Distortion (I use as a Boost), Reverb, and Chorus, respectively from right to left. I also use a BOSS AB-2 to switch between channels. The Distortion circuit of the JC-120 is notoriously awful (that's why I use it as a boost dialed down a little). So, I added a BOSS OD-20 Drive Zone for a selection of overdrive and distortion pedals. I still had enough room for a TU-2 tuner and the BOSS GP-20 Amp Factory which sounds better into the Jazz Chorus than most of the other amps I have. It actually has the JC-120 as one of the models, so that setting is rendered kind of pointless. The Matchless setting is killer. The Mesa Rectifier setting, not so much.
TrueStereoBoard.jpgI also gathered several of my smaller true stereo pedals and put together an easily portable wet thing that I can use with every amp I own whether it's FX Loop is True Stereo, Mono In - Stereo Out, or just Mono. The Diamond Halo pedal converts to whatever input configuration it is given. So, this is a problem solver for me. Eventually, I am going to put together something more permanent for my larger True Stereo pedals (it will be big and not designed for portability) and this little board will go before it allowing me to adapt to any of my amps regardless of their configuration. Does anyone else have a stereo rig or wet dry wet rig? It's sonic bliss!

What amps you got? I am a gear junkie.
I am using 2 Dsl40c’s and a 3210 lead 100 mosfet. The chain is
SD1, then the BOSS rc1 loop station, this is where I get my 2 amp feed. Both Dsl40c’s are set the same. 1 has the BOSS DD3 and mxr micro chorus in the loop. The other has the FX send into the front of the 3210’s clean channel at instrument in. This gives me the bite I love to hear.
The Dsl40c’s are on top of MG cabs.
The 3210 has a pair of slant (A) cabs.
I know I am rambling on but it is what I am playing through.

Cheers
Mitch

That is an interesting way to do it. Is there an fx level before you send signal to the other amp input? It seems like it would be hot.

In my big rig I'm basically using 3 full stacks. Using a mix of Celestion, Vox, and B52 speakers. The left and right stacks are the signal with stereo effects (2 Mesa Rectifiers each with a 412 slant cab on a 412 straight cab). The center stack is dry (Mesa Stilleto Trident with 2 Vox 412 straight cabs).
Wet - Dry - Wet
I'm not going to attempt an explanation of the effects signal path without any pictures to help it along. I will eventually though. I am splitting the effects into blocks and onto separate boards. It will make sense when I'm done. There will be a few bugs to work out. Plus, I am going to try to incorporate a Leslie cabinet I built and my old Talk Box into the the massive rig.

My stage rig is simple 2 50 watt ODS combo amps with EVM12L speakers

Wow! Very cool. How do you like the Funky Vibe? I really dig UniVibe effects. I have the JHS Unicorn (which is real nice), the EHX Good Vibes, the Ventura Vibe and some other quasi vibes and Harmonic Tremolos like the Supro. I plan on taking more pics of my gear and posting them here. We had a flood awhile back and I don't even have everything hooked back up yet. I've had to do some repairs and some replacement along the way.

I like the Funky Vibe it's the 1969 version best one so far I own a few others. Harmonic Tremolo my 5G11 Fender Concert does it well.

Nicely done.

I played with dual amps and wet/dry combinations for a while, but ultimately found the subtlety was lost in a live mix.

I love mine. I have the '68 model. It does great early Pink Floyd and Dark Side sounds perfectly, as well as earlier Hendrix stuff like on Axis. Funny that both mine and Plexi's were made on the same day, and mine is 4 digits lower than his serial number. I also have a DryBell Vibe Machine, which is also quite good.

I have no level on the sent signal. But I can make the 3210 go mad. I set it to 2 on the clean channel. The Dsl40c’s are the master’s.
I have a bunch of clips in the
Friday Night Riffs thread.
Give a couple of listen’s.

Hey Mitch, I checked out a handful of the riffs you laid down. I like the sound. It's solid hard rock/classic metal to my ears although my crummy computer speakers probably don't do it justice. That cherry Les Paul is beautiful!
I don't play out very often, but if I do I stick with something lightweight. The Tweeker 88 and a closed-back 2x12:

This is the BIG rig. It doesn't leave the house.

I guess I should go ahead and post some pictures in the AMPS section.
