Very nice...very nice indeed. I would have enjoyed being a part of that meet...
Thanks Smitty. I really enjoyed meeting the Swamp things. And checking out awesome 345's n Jacksons n LP recording guitars with no junk rubs.Awesome meetup!
Glad you made it safe and sound, Chili.
Now, be safe on the trip home!
Oh Chili, When a player hands over his instruments to play that is the highest honor another player can receive! Just being outside w/ no acoustics it was hard to appreciate the nuances of each instrument and how you have to alter ones technique aka. touch to get out what you hear in your head, then when, more comfortable with it, just let ones mind go blank at start playing w/o thinking about it, just to see whatever comes out. Next in my head was highway star but Van Halens " Beautiful Girls " trumped it thou I couldn't get that lickidy split right hand feel he gets to pull it off. Another thing is I'd probably never get a chance to check out the different Guits we gave each other the opportunity to fiddle with. That alone was priceless!
Thats not Drumoid-- thats HANK! aka Vox AC30 .....Drumoid was trapped in a Peavey Delta Blues situation
And worked on my old Ford some. But, to be honest, I'm just not into going out type get together's or get together's in general. I'm more of a one on one or a couple people hang out at a house type person, go for a bike ride, fishing or something. Not really into parties, group events, etc - never really have been I guess.
Sounds like you guys had fun though and that's what it is about![]()
I see some familiar faces in this mug shot. Chile, I am glad you made it there and hooked up with the guys. I know you had a good time because I sure did.WELL-- the TREK to the SWAMP was Successful---

Drumoid, I understand your 1 on 1 comfort zone, but can also say our hookup was not really like a party. Just some stories, burgers, cokes, beers and a few guitar oglings in the parking lot among regular Joe type brothers. Kind of just like here but with food LOL
In simple English, what Drumoid just said was ... He got a heads up that Adrian was coming and dipped out. He feels very sorry for the ill-informed.
Sounds like you guys had fun, which is cool. But, probably, the easiest way to meet/hang with me is to say 'hey, I'm passing your exit on I4 and swinging over for a coffee' put the pot on. From there who knows. There are a few places around I could give a tour on. Dress code: flip-flops/sandals, shorts, Florida gulf shirt, etc. Unless you want to wear something else
I'm not unfriendly at all, but I don't like eating out, etc. Never have, I actually find it kind of irritating - lol. Just the way I'm wired I guess...
My number one rule is when you've been at my house an hour or more (collectively, doesn't have to be in one trip) - if you want, go get it...
Cool deal, oswegi. I am the same way about my buddies visiting. If someone just shows up, I am glad they came. If they hang out for 5 minutes or 5 hours all is good. Glad u made progress on your projects.
Not sure what that means, but it did make me laugh out loud literally...
