Treble Bleed Volume and No Load Tone Control - thoughts?

I always keep my volume level maxed never touch the knobs, I adjust my amp only to the desired settings I need at that time and place.

Everyone is different, so your approach is of course perfectly valid. But, the volume and tone knobs do so much - the occasional touch won't do any harm (as the vicar said to the actress/alter boy).

Since Mr Grumpy is curious about treble bleeds and no-load tone pots, maybe he should try and decide for himself if these mods are of any use to him. Some of the greatest guitarists that have existed use these features, and some dont.

It would be real simple to experiment with treble bleed mods by using a pair of jumper wires and various cap values and/or resistor values too. Don't need to solder to the guitar's circuitry just to try it.

Experimenting with a no-load tone pot would probably involve lifting one end of the connection between the vol pot and tone pot.

I have cables with clips and various resistors/capacitors (from my Arduino building stash). Any idea where I might plug them into my Gibson circuit board or is that an impossible task?

Anyways, probably around the end of this week, I will be updating the SG Special Mod thread... If I don't like the options, I will say so. Maybe I'll take the P90s out of my Epiphone LP Special (put the stock puppies back in) in readiness to compare them with the SD Antiquites...

For treble bleed connections:

You're kinda screwed if you want to try a no-load pot, though. The middle lug of the tone pots needs to break connection with those yellow box caps (.022uF). These labor reducing circuits are designed for players who have no intention of F-ing with it.
