Traynor YCV40 Tube Amp

So I finally caved and searched out a TUBE/VALVE amp.

Canadian made, with a upgrade speaker a Texas Heat

I sold a few of my model amps, kept the Vox VTX and the Marshall Half stack and added this one to the mix

First impressions are, it’s a amp, sounds like a modelling amp on tube lol. Difference being it’s crispy clean bass and it’s a little loud !! Oh my is it loud !!

Awesome. But then, I’m a Traynor devotee myself. I have an ancient 20w YGM3 with a single 12. And yes. It’s loud too.

I’m a big fan of Traynor amps. I’ve owned several and currently have a YCV80Q 4x10 combo. I’ve played through a YCV40 at jams, great amp.
