I have been offered an EarthQuaker Devices Acapulco Gold drive pedal as a swap for my EVH phaser. I find I never use the phaser and I am curious about running the Acapulco Gold into my Peavey Mark VIII XP bass amp, thinking it might give me something like a Sunn Model T sound.
Anyone used this pedal and can give advice? Bassists especially

I had a Swollen Pickle but got rid of it because I hated it. I have a Mudhoney II but occasionally I'd like something more extreme that doesn't sound like my Boss HM-2.
