And somewhat unexpected; whenever i see a ‘grande bouche’ Selmer Maccaferri-style guitar i usually expect to hear some gypsy jazz, or possibly a bit of musette boulrevardeier comme ceci:

Here’s a set from Fall 2021:

This might actually be a good time to mention that almost all of my original music is created by layering
successive fully improvised tracks, with almost nothing planned in advance and with minimal editing &/or
re-takes. The same goes for the post-production work; effects, amp/cab sims, and eq/compression were
all printed to the track rather than recording dry signal and adding those in post.
What you’re hearing is pretty much what happened, with me reacting to the previous track(s) in real time.
A lot of this hinges on no pre-judgment as well as a certain acceptance after the fact that what did happen
happened exactly the way the universe intended it to happen (within the limits of my own capacity to serve
as a conduit, of course; i will forever be working to improve myself, as behooves the weakest link in the chain).
