Tracks from the Crate

As i was going through 'back catalogue' material to choose this week's Fall Back Friday track,
i found some stuff that i recorded about 8 years ago during my 'modern primitive' phase of grabbing live sound
with a stereo mp3 recorder.
This one was dedicated to David Bowie:

Signal chain was:
.strandberg* Boden OS 7, Euphoria overdrive, FRV-1 Reverb,
DM-2, Flashback, and Deluxe Memory Man delays, RC-3 looper
into blackface Deluxe Reverb amplifier.

After listening back i thought it might be interesting to add some bass and drum stuffs, so:

AlderSix (Warwick Corvette Basic 6 string w/ MEC pickups) > HX Stomp > Logic

i think it turned out pretty well, so i will probably be doing more of this kind of thing ...
moving backwards and forwards at the same time.

i'm more of a digital modeler fangirl myself nowadays, but i can remember using a Crate amp for rehearsals when i was doing the jazz duo thing.
It wasn't as nice as the blackface Deluxe Reverb i used when gigging, but it sounded decent enough.
