A big thanks to Thatbastarddon for helping me with this DR0000 0031 I know nothing about computers. I hope this works. This wrecking Ball, This is all experimental to me about recording from a Tascam. The mic was placed off to the side about three feet away and 6 feet from the Orange amp. No special equipment . Pretty nervous around using this stuff learning settings and such, but here is a first run.

I like it. You can edit the metadata in Soundcloud to make the track downloadable. I'd like to try adding a bit of lead guitar to it if that's OK with you. It does need to be a bit louder but it sounds great.
 
Thanks Truss_rod!! I have the volume all the way up on the Tascam, and I am singing loudly, Im trying to figure it out.
 
Thanks very much Ray!! I appreciate those comments. I think I have some of the issues on volume level figured out now on the Tascam.
 
Ok!

I'm listening on my "Cadillac" sound system on my DAW.

The volume is still a little low, but, the quality of the recording is very good, so much so that when I boost the signal, it stays clear. good job.

The note quality is much better, meaning I don't hear as much Squeezed-Sharp" notes that I heard on Cinnamon Girl. A few notes a little sharp here and there, but that's easily fixed with practice.

Vocally, you have a good sense of feel for the cadence of the song. The vocal work on the Buffalo Springfield tune was really good. I'd say you are ready to go busking!!!

Thus far, i have heard improvement, in not only the performance but in the recording. I believe it's only going to get better!!!!
 
Thanks very much Rob!! I believe you to be right, it will get better as I continue to work on some of the areas we spoke about earlier. Something I have noticed as well, is working with the Tascam is helping me and giving some insight into my playing.

Hi Kerry, just getting back to you on this about the editing, I am going back to SoundCloud to try to edit for downloading.

Kerry went to SoundCloud, it say's, No access , No tracks will be available for download in the Original Format they were uploaded. I went back to my files in my PC thinking if you wished you could PM me your e-mail and I could send it to you. So I went back and I no longer have it I deleted most of them and that was one of them.

That's odd. What was the format of the file you uploaded?
