Oh I agree big time. They like to use the "but I'm a pedestrian with the right of way!"

Sure, maybe you are....but that won't save your life when you're on the highway and get creamed by a bus, or a semi....

I used to be a trucker, heavy haul type stuff...I remember several times when some cyclist, oblivious to the very real and present danger, nearly got smashed.

The road is for vehicles. I understand enjoying a bike ride, but ffs, if you WANT to live, go do it somewhere that there AREN'T vehicles of all shapes and sizes just waiting to smash you up.

Common sense, really.

I drive cab man, they are my number one enemy! I hate them with burning passion! Specially at night when they dont havey anything visible to see them and come at ya out of no where....

Im with you 100%, dont go to Holland they are way behind and car has not arrived there yet :)

I used to do a fair amount of BMX myself, through town and stuff, even. But never near busy streets, and absolutely never on the highways or interstates. Vehicles and bicycles meeting usually means death to the cyclist, severe injury at the very least.

Same reason I never bought a motorcycle for the road. Chose motocross instead. The dirt can hurt, but it's less likely to be lethal lol

If you look at it like that you are dying as you sit doing nothing anyway... bike makes more alive when you live on the edge :)

This bike isn't legal for the pavement. Dirt only. It's a race bike lol
It's probably a LOT quicker than it looks to you lol

30 minutes or less or it's free!
