Tool North American Tour 2023

I got the e-mail this morning. Sad that they won't be coming here, but I may need to go to one of the closer venues (Indio). Always worth it to travel for Tool, it's the best live show that ever was.

Never got a chance to see them prior, so this will be cool, especially considering Charleston went over 20 years before booking hard rock and metal bands ( Priest recently came but I missed it). Even cooler this would be my kids' first show

Haven’t heard that band name much lately. Must be the crowd I hang out with. :pound-hand:

Was real familiar with them back late 90s. Their song “Schism” is one of the songs my youngest used to learn to play bass. Over and over and over and…… you get the idea. In the process. He really did become a pretty decent bass player.

Their last album, Fear Inoculum, came out in 2019, which by Tool standards means its brand-new. But its Tool, y'know, they are like some omnipresent force that never really goes anywhere and just keeps getting stronger with age. They are the best live band...ever. It's an immersive show that really does have to be experienced to appreciate.
