I mentioned my goto pick was Fender mediums. I bought a box of 25 somewhere back in the 80s. I still have about 5 of them left. While some of you destroy picks, I either lose them or loan them..... never to be seen again. I think in 45 years of playing guitar, I’ve only broken or actually worn out three or four picks.

I destroy Fender mediums. They get pretty round in no time. I really like Gibson mediums, as they feel a bit "gummier" and a little thinner. I just can never find them, unless I want to pay too much for shipping. I'll destroy the Gibson picks too, I just like them better.

I did the DAVAs for awhile, but about for the last 15 years or so, I'm very comfortable with the 1.5mm size V-Pick's and Gravity's. My technique changed because of the thicker picks, but it changed for the better... YMMV!

I had one I’d been using on my acoustic. Tip got pretty rounded. I actually liked it better that way vs a new one with a pointy tip. May have eventually lost that one.
