That material reminds me of some of the goofy outfits that they wore on the Monkees show.
I'm old school. I'd play burlap before I'd play paisley.

Actually I think burlap, or tweed for that matter, on a guitar would be cool. Of course there would have to be the satin (barely sprayed clear coat) and gloss (heavily sprayed clear) choices...

Not sure about fabric on a guitar. That Firebid type doesn't look too awful.

Anything's better that the poncho-covered Tele the Fender Custom Shop put out a coupla years ago. I didn't save a pic but man, that thing was seriously ugly, especially for $10K or whatever they were asking for it.
