.010uf is proving to be a tough find. Suggestions>????

Don, curious, but is '10nf' the same as '.01uf?' The reason i ask such a silly question is, I found a guy selling them as
0.01uF .01uF 10nf
All the same ratings???

If I am looking at the decimal correctly, 10nf would be the same as .01uf, but NOT the same as 0.01uf...

I think my hillbilly seff needs to read on some of these threads related to amps and guitars stuff so I can maybe learn something I know NOTHING about..
I am very interested in learning the workings and repairing...

Same thing. That first zero is just padding. You only count the zeroes after the decimal.

Nope. .1uF (or 0.1uF) is ten times as big.

The 0.01uf is the best. It allows usable tone even at zero on the knob...
