To What Are Yee Listenin' Right Now?

Not quite...just the drum and the bass of Royal Blood! And one really unusual video! Who’d a thought people loved bunnies so much?
I bought my bass playing son a POG so he could get close to this sound.
This is one of my faves:

So much talent packed into that small person.

Absolutely, she's the real deal!
My comment ...
"Told my wife if KT knocks on our front door and smiles real nice at me ... I'm outa here", is a family joke.
Years ago my dear wife said the same to me of George Harrison. I out lived George but KT is still young and thinking about me LOL.

Well I got the How the West Was Won CD - recommended by gball, BUT I also picked up a used CD $4.98 shipped, and thats whats in the study time deck:

Right now, after a rather noisy day at work I’m not listening to anything but the sound of my kids playing quietly in their rooms and the rain tapping on my roof. With a nice and hoppy Belgian blonde ale accompanying it, it’s actually really pleasant. Have a nice weekend, guys!

I feel like Steve Howe is one of those guitar players, who has to bee seen live before some people can appreciate his greatness. Back in the 80s, I remember getting into several intense debates with this big buff guy at my gym, who was also a guitar player. At the time, hair metal all the rage. This guy would sit in his room, with the speed on his metronome cranked up and he would play guitar scales as fast as he could. He talked as if Yngwie Malmsteen was the only guitarist in the world. He said that Trevor Rabin was the best Yes guitarist by far and Steve Howe was a loose, sloppy, hack guitarist. I countered his argument with these points: "Steve Howe plays with a very unique and personalized style, made from a tasty blend of Jazz, Blues and Classical music. Howe's guitar licks are much more memorable and soulful, than a bunch of fast scales, being double tapped all over the neck at the speed of light. The other guys' stuff sounds more like fingering exercises than actual songs for a listener's enjoyment. A lot of these young speed demons of today (the 80s) up are great, but I think the music of guys with great style like Howe, will long outlive the music of guys with great speed and technique, like Yngwie. I agree, most of these young players could rip Carlos Santana a new poop chute, in terms of speed and flashy technique. But, in terms of style and making classic memorable songs, Santana is like an ancient Aztec pyramid that will stand the test of time and these other young guys (80s Hair Metal guys) are more like the wax sculptures that will melt by the end of the summer. Style is everything, man and Howe has great style." I said something like that in a gym, over 30 years ago and I still think it's true.
