To What Are Yee Listenin' Right Now?

Of course no good dose of rock n roll would be complete without mention or jammin to this Iconic band.

Jethro Tull in my home town back in 77

I gotta have a listen to a lot of these at home.

Well, I WAS listening to the first Chris Stapleton record on the way in to work earlier, warming up for concert tomorrow.
Wife informs me she now cannot get out of work, no way no how, nobody gets to see the wizard.
FML.

I could have spent $200 on gear instead of pouring $$ down the drain.

Put them up on eBay! Call you BFF and ask him to go! Got kids, take one with you?

I finally got 2112 into the study time (commute)!
Funny how my short term memory is so bad but I remembered almost every word and upcoming song segment.
First time attentively listening to this as a guitar player.

Yeah BUDDY,,,,,,,,,,,, JT!!!!
I can't escape 2112. It comes in just at 1:55 in this clip where A Passage to Bangkok has one of my favorite leads and sections of any song by any band ever. If I hit the switch to my brain to connect it and my ears, I always hear this first in my mind.

In addition, 2112 was the first Rush Album I got after hearing some buddies had gone to see them way back around 14 years old.
It was very strange music to me but I soon saw its allure and skilled playing from Alex, Geddy and Neil and I was hooked on Rush forever.

In addition to the above mentioned lead part to Passage,,,,,,,,,, I also was captured by the way this song goes from lovely lilty playing to a dance of Alex's fingers until it explodes with power chords and Neil's high tom fills and then settles back into the story,,,,,,, "Listen to my Music,,,,,,,,,,,, and hear what it can do..." Geddy's bass lines are so tasty here too.

Do yourself a favor,,,,, listen to it thru good headphones, MMMMMMMMM

Been there, but not in a looooong time.
I'm about to leave work and resume my 2112 studies...

I think I'm going to have to start learning some Passage to Bangkok.
